Fire Retardant Radiant Barrier (MS2095:2014)

Radiant Barrier / Reflective Insulation / Vapor Barrier are known to be premium quality and is extensive used in various industries like Construction, Packaging and etc.

They can be used as wrapping material for HVAC Ducting, Roofing, Wall, Floor, and etc

MS2095 is standard compliance according to the Department of Standards Malaysia

Declaration of standard that have been announce on October 2014 is referring to the building materials that comply with radiant barrier and reflective insulation building materials specification.

This standard also listed under fourth schedule of standard for certification construction material by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia

BS476 Part 6 : Fire Propagation Test
This measure the amount of heat released when the product under test is burned
BS476 Part 7: Surface Spread of Flame Test
Method of test to determine the classification of the surface spread of flame of products. Class 1 is the best rating

To achieve Class “0” a product must achieve Class 1 in the Part 7 test and also past Part 6 test.

Test done under this group of product is ISO 8301, MS ISO08302; ASTM C 1371; AS/NZS 4201.1; AS/NZS 4201.3; AS/NZS 1301.448s; AS/NZS 1301.423rp, TAPPI T470 and ASTM D1004

99% Pure Aluminum Foil with high reflectivity (>0.98) and low emissivity (<0.02) surface

Comply with fire properties according to the standard BS476 Part 6 & 7

Reinforced with high quality woven fabric or bidirectional fiberglass scrim for better tearing resistance, higher tensile strength and assist on mechanical strength.
